LOCATION:The mosque is in Asha district.
THE MONUMENT:It was named after a platan which is at the entrance.The owner of the mosque was Chiplaque Housein Aga who built it and donated his fortune to the mosque in 1775.

The mosque is consisted of two areas.The main building and a second gama shaped one which makes it look like Yeni Mosque in Komotini.The Michrab has got repoussed gypsum baroque decoration.The minaret is made of white marble and it stands on a rectangular basis.

On the north west side of the mosque there is the graveyard which is surrounded by a low wall.Between the tombs there is Chiplaque Housein Aga's daughter and mother,Hanife Hanim.It is important to say that the owner's tomb doesn't exist in that graveyard.
