Boubegera, teams of masqueraded men in zoomorphic costumes with huge hanging bells, make their presence noticeable while making thunderous noise, chasing the attendants and teasing them. After the succession of every phase of a wedding: shaving the groom, dressing the bride, leaving the relatives, giving the dowry, the bridal pomp along with gaida (aerophone) and daires (membranophone) ends up at the square where the man who pretends to be the priest satirizes the marriage through giving humorous advices to the couple. A sudden abduction of the bride by Boubougera follows but he is quickly released. A ghlendi follows.
