THE GEOGRAPHICAL ORIGIN OF THE LANGUAGE MATERIAL OF THE MANUSCRIPTS191 manuscripts were donated by the “Greek Philological Association of Constantinople”, 80 of which have been copied and are included in the Archive of the 1455 manuscripts in use by ILNE. The remaining 111 are severely dilapidated, hence they are stored in a special archive for protection purposes and are not included in the catalogue provided below. The manuscripts are presented geographically (per region, prefecture, province, islands, sub-regions and villages) as well as per writer, chronology and title. |
